My career started early, right out of high school in my hometown of Buffalo. I was lucky to be able to study cosmetology while in my junior & senior years. I loved it so I got my license immediately after graduation and started working in a small salon. Hoping to extend my interest further I decided to go to college for an associates degree in fashion, I found myself submerged in doing a little bit of everything, doing hair as well as freelance hair/makeup for fashion photographers while going to school. Once graduating from college I worked retail and went into management while doing hair part-time.
About 14 years ago I moved to Charlotte and worked a couple of years in retail and retail cosmetics, but never felt truly satisfied. I found my way back to my true passion ...a salon to fine tune my training in hair color! I happily jumped back into the salon and never looked back. I worked in a large salon for over 6 years before making my true "home" here at Fuze Salon to practice the art of hair color and be surrounded by some of the best stylists in the Charlotte area! I feel truly blessed to be doing what I love and to make my clients feel refreshed and beautiful, looking their very best when they leave my chair.
Grateful to be out of the Buffalo snow, I enjoy most of my freetime outside with my husband and best friend Jim. Whether we are out training for our next marathon, traveling to the beach or mountains, in the yard gardening or just hanging out on our deck with our two dogs, I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. Life is Good :)
I hope to see you here at Fuze, you won't be disappointed with your experience!
