I knew when I was about 5 years old that hair was very important to me. "Too important!", my mother would say when she would catch me in the mirror fawning constantly over my long locks. That's my first memory of my love affair with hair. I started working in a great salon when I was 15, and quickly found that it was my passion in life. I completed my first apprenticeship with that salon before I moved to North Carolina. After more schooling and a few salons near the Lake, I found my soul mate, Fuze Salon. My 5th anniversary as a Fuze-ling is fast approaching and the time as flown! I will be forever grateful to my Fuze Family for taking me in, and helping mold and nurture my creative abilities. I LOVE color/cutting and I LOVE making my client's feel special and beautiful. That feeling never gets old, no matter how long you are in the business. In my free time I love to eat, travel and spend time with family and friends. Here are a few of my favorite places in the area to enjoy some tasty bites and yummy spirits! Eez Fusion and Sushi @Birkdale (same owners as CowFish)- Thai Coconut Red Curry is amazing but not super spicy. Duckhorn Decoy Cabernet Sauvignon is a must try. Brick House Tavern @Davidson- They make a mean Greek salad and a huge selection of beer on tap. Carpe Diem @Charlotte- Seared scallops with butternut squash. They also make a Gimlet made with Henderick's gin and garnished with cucumbers, one of the best drinks ever. Molly MacPhersons Scottish Pub and Grille @Charlotte- Try the scottish eggs and a Balvenie Doublewood.
